What are the qualifications for the OHFA 4 Teachers product?
To be eligible under the program, potential homebuyers:
•Must hold an Oklahoma teacher’s certificate and be employed at any Oklahoma public school district or accredited private or parochial school. In addition to classroom teachers, employees whose jobs require such certification are also eligible.
•Must reside in the State of Oklahoma.
•Must meet total gross household income and purchase price limits. First-time homebuyer requirements apply in certain areas.
•Must meet standard mortgage underwriting requirements which demonstrate credit worthiness through a participating lender.
•Must occupy the purchased home as their primary residence.
